View from the Cast: Abigail Taylor

Hello!

My name is Abigail Taylor and I’m playing Belle in Walton High’s production of ‘Beauty and The Beast’.

This will be the fifth production I have been in whilst at Walton High. The others have all
been great fun but this will certainly be my biggest challenge yet!

I’m enjoying rehearsals so much. The relationships that are created throughout this
experience are something special. You meet such a wide range of people, making
friends with people you wouldn’t know otherwise.

For me, this role is like a dream come true. I grew up watching Disney Princess movies and always wanted to be one. The five year old me is just too excited that I
actually get to play Belle… and so is the 16 year old me.

I loved it so much, I even said goodbye to my blonde hair!

I can’t wait for everything to come together and know that this will be the best production that Walton High has done yet, “for who could ever learn to love a Beast?”
